· by Lead Stories, Anadolu Ajansı (Anadolu Agency), TF1 Info, Al Jazeera

Lead Stories, Anadolu Ajansı's Teyit Hattı, TF1 Info and Al Jazeera reported that viral early-October 2026 videos said to show the Ark being excavated near Ararat were AI-generated or did not show the real work.

Details

Lead Stories traced one 10-second helicopter clip to an X post of 5 October 2026 and reported AI-detection results (Hive, and a SynthID watermark via OpenAI's Verify tool). TF1 Info said three such videos did not match the real Noah's Ark Scans footage. Al Jazeera said related clips drew about 40 million views. Status refers to the claim that the videos show a real excavation, not to the Durupınar research itself.
