About Ark Tracker
Ark Tracker collects published claims, expeditions, studies, press coverage, interviews and rebuttals about Noah's Ark and presents them as one timeline. It currently lists 92 entries, 102 people and organisations, and 4 sites.
Method
- Every entry cites at least one published source, with its publisher and publication date.
- Claims are attributed to the people or organisations who made them. Wording is kept neutral, and claims are kept separate from established findings.
- Entries are added through reviewed changes and checked automatically for missing fields, duplicates and broken references.
- Dates are shown only as precisely as the sources allow: a year, a month, or a full date, with “c.” for approximate dates.
What the statuses mean
- Claimed
- Asserted by the claimant; not independently tested or not yet assessed in the cited sources.
- Disputed
- Contested in the cited sources: there are published challenges or conflicting findings.
- Debunked
- The cited sources, including independent experts, report the claim was shown to be false or mistaken, or document it as a hoax.
- Supported
- The specific, narrow finding (for example, a soil sample's composition) is backed by independent, published evidence. It does not mean the site is confirmed as the Ark.
For press, interview and rebuttal entries, the status describes the claim the entry is about.
A status reflects how the cited sources treat a specific claim. It is not a verdict by this site.
Entry types
- Claim
- An assertion that the Ark, or physical evidence of it, has been found or identified.

- A scientific or technical analysis (geology, dating, imaging, soil, etc.).
- Press
- News or media coverage.
- Interview

- A published critique or response to a claim.

Privacy
This site counts visits anonymously with a self-hosted instance of Aptabase. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for analytics. Each event records the page, which era or event was opened, the referring site and your browser language. It does not record your IP address, your search text or anything that identifies you.
