Daniel McGivern announces expedition to the Ararat anomaly

· by Daniel McGivern

Honolulu businessman Daniel McGivern said commercial satellite photos "unequivocally show a man-made object" on Ararat and announced a July 2004 expedition led by Ahmet Ali Arslan.

Details

Per Wikipedia, Turkey declined the request in September 2004 and the expedition did not take place. Wikipedia says critics suggested McGivern announced it before getting permission as a publicity stunt to press Turkey to authorise it.
