What is claimed

Some, including Taylor, have said the feature near the western summit might be a man-made structure.

What is established

The DIA analysis described the "anomaly" as linear facades of glacial ice under recent snow, with tone and texture consistent with shadowed snow, ice and debris. Status reflects the wider claim that the feature is the Ark, not the DIA's finding.
