New Eden publishes the "Vladimir Roskovitsky" aviator story

· by Floyd M. Gurley, New Eden

New Eden printed a story credited to Russian aviator "Vladimir Roskovitsky" claiming a pre-revolution Russian expedition found the Ark on Ararat.

What is claimed

A Russian pilot spotted the Ark c. 1917 and a 150-soldier expedition documented it before the Bolsheviks suppressed the report.

What is established

Benjamin F. Allen, the story's source, said about 95% of it, including the name Roskovitsky, was invented by publisher Gurley, who apologised; by 1942 at least two publications had retracted it.
